Brand Authenticity
Thursday, March 27, 2019

As companies face increasing pressure to join society, their focus on becoming more personal and with their target audiences is shifting from transparency to using popular buzzwords. Yet, in a world full of social media fads, bandwagon philanthropy and fake news, can brands actually be considered authentic?

Join us and Kasi Bruno for a conversation around brand safety, usage of social influencers and managing an authentic brand image. We ask you the question: Are brands for real?

Good is the new cool…

We brought together leading the marketing and advertising professionals at OMD LA who want to use their forces for good. Afdhel Aziz, the co-creator for Good is the New Cool podcast series, shared how bold creative actions can lead to real social change.

Aziz shared some wisdom; we learned that “your values drive your value!” and “doing work ethically requires using your heart and your head.” Learning about his experience with industry trailblazers who are doing good every day inspired the desire and the courage to transform our world for the better!

Path to the She Suite Thursday, October 18, 2018

We'll just say it: There aren't enough women in the C Suite (duh). So, as part of the ELC Live! seriesThinkLA's Path To The She Suite event hosted powerful women from all walks at the beautiful, female-owned, fully-independent agency, Zambezi and brought together executive women leading the marketing and advertising industry to share how they got where they are (brilliance and hard work, no doubt) and what the key lessons have been along the way.

ThinkLA's powerhouse panelists answered thought-provoking questions from their opinion on the term #ladyboss to how having a sacred routine can be the anchor that makes you a better leader.

Thank you to Jessica McEwan, copywriter at RPA and instructor for The Book Shop School for Ads for the following panelist takeaways and please read her article on the ThinkLA Member blog!
